Leslie Martey currently focuses her practice on e-discovery and litigation support for securities class actions and other complex litigation.
With 20 years of extensive experience in corporate and securities transactional law, from entity formation to public and private equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities reporting and compliance, Ms. Martey has represented numerous domestic and international companies in various businesses, including consumer products, entertainment, technology and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Martey was formerly of counsel to several New York City law firms and in-house counsel for a U.S. publicly-traded, international corporation.
Ms. Martey also clerked for a Family Court judge in New York City and provided pro bono legal services to the Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services, Inc. of New York.
She previously served as President, and as a member of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board, for Women in Toys, a not-for-profit professional organization for the advancement of women in the toy, entertainment, and licensing industries.
Ms. Martey received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from C.W. Post College. She is a member of the New York Bar.
